I had a great experience with Dr Nair. His particular approach to my case and natural, straightforward communication is outstanding. Creating a trustful atmosphere base on his competence, experience and communication skills. All appointments on time, prompt explanations and clear solutions always in line with treatment plan. Surgery went well, no complications, step by step post-discharge follow up. And always smiling ! I am a doctor too and I can recommend Dr Nair very much especially from my medical perspective concerning patients approach and treatment’s effectiveness!

Mr Nair is an excellent Urologist who empowered me to make decisions regarding my medical care, by weighing all the circumstances. He is knowledgeable, and has excellent 'bedside manner'. He patiently answered all of my questions (including with respect to speculative/developing treatments) and worked with me to tailor a care plan which addressed my particular concerns and circumstances. It was frankly a relief to find him, and I could not be more grateful. I recommend him highly!

It is clear from his professional qualifications, hospital positions and reviews that Mr Rajesh Nair is a highly skilled surgeon. But as I was contemplating drastic surgery, I also wanted to be able to discuss my options and concerns in open and frank conversations. I was delighted that Mr Nair described my medical diagnosis and possible treatment plans in a clear and understanding way; both the positive and negative aspects of different approaches were considered carefully, there was no attempt to persuade me down a particular pathway. I was able to make my decision with the confidence that I had been fully informed. I selected to have Robot-assisted Laparoscopic Radical Cystoprostatectomy performed by Mr Nair. This was ‘brutal’ surgery but Mr Nair had given me a realistic assessment of how I would feel post-surgery so there were no unpleasant surprises. Every step of the way he monitored my progress with care and consideration; his support certainly aided my recovery. I should also mention that Mr Nair has a great team supporting him and I am indebted to staff at HCA for helping me during my stay in hospital and in out-patient surgeries. Although it is too early to be certain of my long-term prognosis, thus far progress has been very positive. I am grateful to Mr Rajesh Nair for helping me make what I am certain was the appropriate course of action for me and then performing the operation and overseeing my recovery with great skill and empathy. I highly recommend Mr Rajesh Nair to anyone contemplating urological surgery.

I was first referred to Mr Nair due to microscopic traces of blood in my urine, which he thoroughly investigated and was able to confirm was not of concern. It was his thorough approach however, and speed of assessment , that led to my further diagnosis of Cushings and identification of the need to have robotic- assisted laparoscopic adrenalectomy. During what was a very stressful time he was calm, professional and caring. He has made himself available and provided support, advice and care that was much appreciated. The surgery itself went well and his enthusiastic approach to caring, plus that of Dr Jamie McCanny who conducted the anaesthesia services, made me feel confident of the surgery I was about to undergo. Raj’s post surgery care also helped me feel all the more positive about what the future holds. He also referred me to an Endochronologist who like him exudes that same level of care, professionalism and empathy. I would also like to add that the team who support Raj in this office are also super helpful and very efficient. All of these things can’t be underestimated when you are dealing with health issues as they help reduce anxiety during a stressful time. I can’t recommend Raj and his team highly enough. I have felt well informed and supported at every step.
